Charlotteville jetty to be repaired ahead of next cruise ship season.
The Charlotteville Jetty is being repaired ahead of the next cruise ship season. According to the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and Urban Development, this project began today and is estimated to be completed in the next thirty days. The division said the project is to facilitate safer and more efficient berthing for cruise ship liners since, during the most recent cruise ship season, vessels being serviced along the jetty experienced some difficulties.
