Republic Bank Limited has answered the call to assist TEMA with important items necessary for the continuation of clean-up efforts
Republic Bank Limited (RBL) answered the call, responding to the Tobago Emergency Management Agency’s (TEMA) request for donations to support the ongoing oil spill cleanup efforts. TEMA received vital PPE donations from RBL, including gloves, safety glasses, vests, coveralls, masks, and boots, crucial for protecting cleanup crews.
Beyond financial aid and supplies, the bank’s dedicated volunteers actively participated in beach cleanups at Lambeau on February 24th, 25th, and March 10th. This hands-on involvement significantly bolstered efforts to mitigate the environmental impact of the spill.
The Tobago Oil Spill Joint Operations Command highly praised RBL for its significant assistance, emphasizing the immense value of such corporate collaboration in effectively addressing major environmental challenges on the island.
