Trinidad And Tobago To Partner With Us Southcom For Caribbean Security Conference In November 2024
Trinidad and Tobago will collaborate with the US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) to host a Caribbean security conference in November 2024. This was revealed in a meeting between Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley and senior US government and military officials at the Pentagon today. The discussions focused on Trinidad and Tobago’s leadership in the Caribbean Community, covered issues like illicit trafficking, maritime security, defense force modernization, cyber security, and bilateral security cooperation.
