Health Secretary in Antigua & Barbuda

Secretary of Health, Wellness, and Social Protection, Dr. Faith BYisreal is attending a conference in Antigua and Barbuda.  It is focused on accelerating the Montevideo Consensus on Caribbean Population. The Caribbean Forum Population and Development seminar, in collaboration with the UN Population Fund and the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, addresses this topic. It centers on the Montevideo Consensus, adopted in 2013, covering over one hundred priority actions like population policy, youth, aging, sexual health, gender equality, migration, inequality, and indigenous issues.

The seminar examines demographic trends, reviews progress on the Montevideo Consensus, and analyzes key population concerns. Attendees include Heads of Government, Ministers, Parliamentarians, inter-governmental organizations, and civic stakeholders.
