PDP leader Watson Duke slams WASA for not properly securing decommissioned tank.
Scarborough, Tobago – Following the discovery of the decomposed bodies of a mother and her two children in a decommissioned water tank in Parlatuvier, Political Leader of the People’s Democratic Patriots (PDP), Watson Duke, has condemned WASA for its lack of security.
Although WASA claimed that the tank was decommissioned and assured the residents of Parlatuvier that there was no cause for concern, Duke remained skeptical of their assurances. His comments highlight a serious public safety issue and raise questions about the security protocols surrounding public utilities and their potential impact on community well-being.
