WASA says the water supply remains the same, although the wet season has begun.
Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has informed the public that despite the official start of the Wet Season, the water supply situation has not yet changed.
The Trinidad and Tobago Met Service declared the commencement of the Wet Season on May 25th. However, the persistent effects of the preceding dry season are still heavily impacting the levels of the various reservoirs across the country. This means water supply restrictions and conservation measures remain crucial as WASA works to replenish national reserves and improve service.
