Scarborough, Tobago – February 28, 2024 – The Tobago House of Assembly (THA) often faces public criticism regarding the poor condition of Tobago’s roads. However, in a significant acknowledgment, the Water and Sewage Authority (WASA) and Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonsalves, have accepted responsibility for the state of the island’s road infrastructure.
This acknowledgment was disclosed during the Good Morning Tobago Show hosted by Kandace Jackson, where Minister Gonsalves and WASA officials discussed the challenges. This public acceptance of blame highlights WASA’s role in the maintenance and restoration of roadways in Tobago, particularly following works related to water infrastructure.
