Scarborough, Tobago – Wade Caruth, the Patriotic Front’s (PF) candidate for Tobago East, says he’s taking a grassroots approach to his campaign. Although the party he represents is a national party, Caruth stated that the party is committed to addressing Tobago’s needs. He also noted that party leader, Mickela Panday, has clear plans and goals specifically for Tobago’s development.
By engaging directly with people on the ground, Caruth said he is gathering their ideas and strategically shaping them to address the community’s needs. For Caruth, Tobago’s self-determination is a key priority. He believes the island should become a state, drawing parallels with the United States, where Tobago would have the opportunity to govern and manage its own affairs and resources.
