Scarborough, Tobago – The Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection announced that it would be conducting training for caregivers across the island over the next few months [referring to the period following the announcement in 2024].
This comprehensive programme will focus on individuals who provide care for the elderly, children, and the infirm, regardless of whether they work in special needs facilities, children’s homes, residential homes, or senior citizens’ homes. The division has collaborated with the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) to develop the training programme, ensuring it meets high standards for skill development and professional care. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of care for vulnerable populations across Tobago.
