March 28, 2025 – Although they are not contesting seats in Tobago, the UNC plans to support the island’s development with a few key projects if they win the April 28th general election. Political Leader and Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar shared some of these plans at a UNC town hall meeting focused on the party’s economic vision for the country. Among the promises made for Tobago were the development of a cruise ship marina in Plymouth and a locally branded hotel.
