Tobago Secondary Schools Art & Film Competition Returns with ‘TO-BE-GONIAN’ Theme
September 8, 2025- The Chief Secretary’s Tobago Secondary Schools’ Art & Film Competition 2025 is officially underway, inviting students to explore the theme “TO-BE-GONIAN”—a creative play on the word Tobagonian.
Young artists and filmmakers are encouraged to showcase their talents by capturing what it means to be a Tobagonian, telling the island’s unique story through visual art and film. Participants will compete for exciting prizes, with outstanding works featured in the 2026 Chief Secretary’s Calendar, offering a platform to share Tobago’s culture with a wider audience.
Submissions are due by 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Shaw Park Complex. Organisers urge all entrants to come prepared and highlight the best of Tobagonian creativity.
This annual competition continues to celebrate Tobago’s rich heritage, fostering student engagement in the arts and promoting local stories to the world.
