Tobago Redefines Remembrance Day

While the world traditionally observes Remembrance Day on November 11th, to mark the end of World War I and to honour fallen soldiers, Tobagonians are now embracing a broader remembrance—one that includes their enslaved African ancestors. On Saturday, June 14, dozens gathered at James Park, in Uptown Scarborough, for the fourth annual African Ancestral Remembrance Ceremony.
