Tobago Officials Mark Official Reopening of Whim Hardcourt

July 21, 2025 – The Whim Hardcourt was officially recommissioned last Friday, July 18, 2025, marking a significant step in the ongoing upgrades to hard courts across Tobago.

Minority Councillor Petal Daniel-Benoit expressed her pleasure at being part of the recommissioning ceremony. MP for Tobago West, Joel Sampson, emphasized Whim Hardcourt’s multifaceted value to the community.

THA Assistant Secretary with responsibility for Sport, Wayne Clarke, affirmed his commitment to making Tobago “the greatest little island on the planet,” extending congratulations to the Whim community as part of this ongoing endeavour to enhance sporting facilities in Tobago and promote community development.
