TTPS Tobago Officers commended for their great work
On Wednesday, thirty-six police officers of the Tobago Division received letters of commendation, certificates of achievement, and monetary awards following the seizure of five firearms and a quantity of ammunition from January 1st, 2024, to the present.
According to the TTPS, the commendation was held at the Conference Room of the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Eastern and Tobago, in Scarborough.
The TTPS Tobago Police removed five firearms: one rifle, two pistols, two revolvers, and 24 rounds of nine-millimetre ammunition from several communities for the year thus far. Among the units responsible were the Scarborough CID, Task Force, Emergency Response Patrol, Inter-Agency Task Force and the Roxborough and Scarborough Police Stations.
