20-year-old Tobago man charged with murder
A 20-year-old Tobago man has been charged with the murder of 28-year-old Wanya Kareem and the wounding of another 28-year-old individual. These incidents allegedly took place on the 1st of January 2024.
Jamal Samuel of Signal Hill faces multiple charges, including murder, shooting with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition. He appeared virtually before Master of the High Court at Scarborough, Sarah De Silva. Samuel was remanded into custody, with his next court appearance scheduled for June 3rd, 2024.
