Scarborough, Tobago – The Tobago Festivals Commission has announced the finalists for the Tobago Heritage Calypso Monarch 2024, following successful auditions held on July 6th.
Each talented contestant is now required to perform an original song that reflects and embraces the heritage theme of “We Come Back,” showcasing their creativity and connection to the island’s traditions. Additionally, participants must perform a vintage calypso song from the period 1980 to 1990, adding a classic dimension to the competition. The finals promise a vibrant display of lyrical prowess and cultural appreciation.
