Scarborough, Tobago – February 5th, 2024 – Tobago truly dominated the stage at the National Junior Calypso Monarch competition 2024! The island celebrated a significant triumph as its young calypso talent shone brightly.
Nataki Thompson, proudly representing Scarborough Secondary School, was crowned the Junior Calypso Monarch 2024. Her powerful song, aptly titled “Your Purpose,” resonated deeply with both the judges and the audience, securing her the top spot in the prestigious competition.
Adding to Tobago’s impressive showing, another talented Tobagonian, Koquice Davidson, a student from Bishops High School, also made her mark by securing an impressive third place with her calypso, “Something Wrong.”
