President of the Tobago Business Chamber, Martin George, is commending Caribbean Airlines for its quick action, in light of last night’s incident. In a video sent out to the media today, George said Caribbean Airlines is widely regarded as one of the safest carriers in the Caribbean. He also expressed confidence that the incident will be thoroughly investigated, particularly in light of a previous occurrence where a Caribbean Airlines flight landed with a missing wheel. He also commended the staff of Caribbean Airlines for their outstanding service and performance. He urged Caribbean Airlines to remain diligent and ensure that routine checks are consistently carried out to maintain the highest standards of flight safety.
