Scarborough, Tobago – Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, leading the Gender and Child Affairs unit and Member of Parliament for Tobago East, Ayanna Webster-Roy, has announced that the Survivor Transformation and Empowerment Programme (STEP) will be launched soon. She made the announcement at the Women’s Entrepreneurial Development and Product Expo, “Women’s Village,” held at the Scarborough Esplanade yesterday.
The STEP program is designed to provide comprehensive support and empowerment to survivors of various forms of hardship and abuse. The announcement highlights the government’s ongoing commitment to social support and gender affairs, particularly in the Tobago community.
