Scarborough, Tobago – The Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment, and Sustainable Development hosted a Home Gardening initiative at the Port Mall on Tuesday. This community-focused event aimed to empower residents by distributing plants free of charge, just in time for the Corpus Christi Holiday.
Denisha Jones-Williams, the division’s Technical Field Officer, oversaw the initiative and provided insights into its benefits. The program promotes self-sufficiency in food production, encourages sustainable practices, and fosters a greener environment within Tobago’s communities.
