March 14, 2025 – Assistant Secretary of Health, Wellness and Social Protection, Megan Morrison, led a three-member delegation to the 15th Poverty and Social Protection Conference (PSPC2025) in Bangkok, Thailand, from March 9th to the 11th. The conference, organized by the Tomorrow People Organization, brought together global experts to discuss poverty reduction, social inequality, and policy management. The THA delegation engaged with experts, sharing insights and exploring innovative strategies for poverty alleviation.
Assistant Secretary Morrison noted that the discussions align with the THA’s goals to improve social protection for Tobago’s vulnerable communities through its REACH programme. She was joined by Director of Social Protection Hanif E. A. Benjamin and Executive Officer Jaime Baird.
