Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – A gripping battle on the pitch ended in dramatic fashion as St. Joseph’s Convent edged past Signal Hill Secondary in sudden-death penalties to secure a spot in the national semi-finals of the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Girls InterCol.
The hard-fought match, which was held in Tobago, went to penalties after the game ended in a 1-1 draw. St. Joseph’s Convent ultimately won the shootout 5-4. This victory advances the team to the next round of the national competition.
