September 8, 2025- The Scarborough Secondary Alumni Association wrapped up its much-anticipated Capture The Flag tournament with a prize-giving ceremony on Thursday, marking ten years of community engagement and athletic achievement. Held at the Scarborough Secondary School Library, this year’s event featured a record-breaking total prize payout of $59,700—the largest in the tournament’s history.
The competition included a 5K Road Race, Football Competition, and All Fours Tournament. Football champions took home the lion’s share of the prize money with $40,000, while winners of the 5K Run and All Fours received $12,000 and $7,700 respectively.
Kevon McKenna, President of the SSS Alumni, congratulated participants, volunteers, and sponsors, praising their dedication and sportsmanship. He reaffirmed the association’s commitment to community development through such initiatives and expressed excitement for an even more spirited tournament next year.
