Road restoration project commences in Runnemede Village
Scarborough, Tobago – The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and Urban Development (DIQUD) announced that road restoration works began today at Runnemede Village Street, Northside.
The Division explained that this work was necessary to safeguard homes in the area and restore the roadway, which had been severely affected by erosion. The project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a 160-foot-long retaining wall and extensive backfilling. The Division advised that some level of disruption would be expected over the next six weeks. They also urged residents to seek alternative parking during the construction to protect their property and allow work to proceed without obstruction.
