Scarborough, Tobago – August 6, 2024 – The Shirvan/Storebay Local Road Connector and Roundabout has officially opened today in Tobago. The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries, and Urban Development hosted a ceremony this morning to mark the occasion.
Many speakers were present to express their gratitude to the local workers who diligently built the road, a testament to their skill and dedication. The event also served as a platform to honour key figures of Tobago, with prominent local icons having parts of the new infrastructure named in their honor. This new road is expected to significantly improve traffic flow and access, particularly to the ANR Robinson International Airport, enhancing Tobago’s infrastructure development.
