Scarborough, Tobago – June 8, 2024 – The Tobago Reforestation and Watershed Rehabilitation Programme (TRWRP) has officially partnered with the TT Fine Cocoa Company, Cocoa Development Company, and other key stakeholders to launch the Tobago Cocoa Project. This collaborative initiative is specifically aimed at revitalizing the cocoa industry in Tobago.
The project seeks to breathe new life into the island’s historic cocoa production, fostering sustainable practices and enhancing the sector’s contribution to Tobago’s economy and cultural heritage. This significant step underscores a collective commitment to restoring Tobago’s fine cocoa legacy.
