Reconsider giving Tobago only $50 Million

Independent Senator Dr. Maria Dillon-Remy wants the Finance Minister to reconsider allocating only $50 Million to T.H.A. for oil spill clean-up.

Independent Senator Dr Maria Dillon-Remy requested that the Ministry of Finance reconsider allocating only $50 million to the THA for oil spill clean-up. During the debate on the supplemental appropriation for fiscal 2024, Dr. Dillon-Remy stated that the figure is inadequate to meet the highlighted needs and questioned the source of the funding.
