Police Presence Reassures Tobago Schools As Education Secretary Does A Tour
September 23, 2025-The Division of Education has reaffirmed its commitment to safety and order in Tobago schools following the increase in police presence at several institutions.
Earlier today, Secretary of Education Zorisha Hackett toured Mason Hall Secondary and Signal Hill Secondary Schools to review operations alongside officers from the Tobago Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. The collaboration is part of a proactive effort to ensure students can learn in a secure environment.
Parents at both schools expressed relief, saying the visible security measures reassured them about their children’s well-being. The Division of Education has stated that it will continue monitoring and refining these measures throughout the school term.
