May 28, 2025 – CARICOM Chair and Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, is staying the course. Despite previously signalling that this term would be her last, the 59-year-old politician has confirmed that she will lead the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) into the next general election, which is constitutionally due by 2027.
