Ministry of Health receives PAHO Report on death of seven babies at P.O.S. general hospital.
The Ministry of Health has received the much-anticipated Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) report on the deaths of seven babies at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Delivered on Friday, the report will undergo an internal review by clinical and technical staff from both the ministry and the North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA) before being made public.
