Tobago now has two new licensing officers who are “sons of the soil,” serving in the Licensing Department on the island.
According to information from the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries, and Urban Development, the new officers are Marvin Queva and Daavon McKenna. They were both appointed as Motor Vehicle Officers I. These are the first Tobagonian officers to be appointed to the Licensing Department in recent times. Both officers are expected to regularly monitor vehicles on the island’s roads as the Licensing Department aims to improve compliance with the Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
