July 22, 2025 – The government of Trinidad and Tobago has officially appointed a new board to oversee the National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB). Finance Minister Davendranath Tancoo presented the instruments of appointment on Monday, July 21st, 2025.
The new eight-member board will be chaired by Mr. Ken Emrith. He is joined by Ms. Mohanie Ramnarine, Mr. Clarence Jagroopsingh, Mr. Parasram Brian Maharaj, Mr. Adam Razack, Mr. Harandé Elie, Ms. Curley Kesar, and Ms. Brenda John.
This move comes as the NLCB continues to be a significant contributor to state revenue through its portfolio of popular games, including Lotto Plus, Play Whe, and instant scratch tickets. The new board is expected to enhance governance and transparency within the key state enterprise in Trinidad and Tobago.
