June 11, 2024 – On Friday, June 7th, 2024, the National Commission for Self Help Limited (NCSHL) appointed Akino Greene as its new interim CEO. This appointment comes amidst an ongoing investigation within the organization.
To ensure an unbiased investigation is conducted, four senior officers have been placed on administrative leave. Arrangements have been made to ensure that the business operations of NCSHL continue as normal. Errol Joyeau has been appointed as the interim Procurement Manager, and Gary Romain is now the interim Project Manager at NCSHL. These changes aim to maintain continuity and integrity during the ongoing investigation within the vital commission in Trinidad and Tobago.
