Scarborough, Tobago – The Ministry of Youth Development and National Service (MYDNS) officially launched the AMPLIFY and Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR) Programmes today at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort.
Minister for the Ministry of Youth Development Foster Cummings and Secretary for the Division of Community Development, Youth Development and Sport, Joel Sampson, shared their sentiments about these programs at today’s event. The AMPLIFY program focuses on music production and media skills, while PLAR provides a pathway for skilled individuals to gain formal certification for their existing knowledge and experience, enhancing their employability and career opportunities. This initiative underscores a commitment to empowering Tobago’s youth through both creative and technical skills development.
