Scarborough, Tobago – August 30, 2024 – The cargo vessel M.V. Cabo Star, which was taken off route for 10 days following a fire on August 20, 2024, has officially resumed operations today. The Management of the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transport Company Limited (TTIT) advised truckers that inspections and repairs to the M.V. Cabo Star were completed. Sailings resumed today from Port of Spain at 2:00 PM, and another sailing is scheduled from the Port of Scarborough at 11:00 PM. The regular sailing schedule will continue from the 1st of September. The vessel’s return is a welcome development for the vital inter-island transport service between Trinidad and Tobago.
