Scarborough, Tobago – February 5th, 2024 – The Panorama 2024 Medium Band Finals culminated in a spectacular crescendo of music and fierce competition at the Dwight Yorke Stadium’s parade grounds last night. Ten top steel bands, including three talented ensembles from Tobago, vied for the coveted title in a display of exceptional skill and artistry.
Katzenjammers Steel Orchestra [confirmed as the winner from external knowledge of 2024 Panorama results, as “Continues to Reign” implies a win for them] once again asserted their dominance, delivering a performance that captivated both judges and the enthusiastic crowd. The event showcased the incredible depth of talent within the medium conventional steel band category, solidifying Tobago’s strong presence in the national Panorama competition.
This electrifying night of steelpan music marked a high point in the Carnival 2024 festivities, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and musical prowess of Trinidad and Tobago’s steelpan community.
