INTER DEPARTMENT CARNIVAL COMPETITION 2024

The Tobago Festivals Commission Limited (TFCL) successfully launched the Tobago National Carnival 2024 season with its vibrant Inter-Department Carnival Competition Parade on Friday, January 29th. The streets of Scarborough came alive as contestants – both personalities and calypsonians – gathered at James Park.

Despite a rainy afternoon, spirits were high as participants and their enthusiastic supporters danced, waved, and paraded through Main Street, onto Castries Street, Carrington Street, and finally Wilson Road, concluding at the TFCL office at GNV Place. Each contestant took the opportunity to introduce themselves, building excitement and encouraging everyone to attend the main event on Thursday, February 1st, at the Parade Grounds, Dwight Yorke Stadium.

Tickets are available at: TFCL Bobtail Building, Smithfield Plaza on Monday to Thursday from 9am-3:15pm. The sale of tickets at the office on Thursday February 1 will end at 12pm however there will be tickets available at the venue for purchase in the evening.
