During an IDA press conference earlier today, political leader Dr Denise Tsoiaphat Angus expressed concern about Tobago’s involvement in the upcoming national carnival. She questioned whether the THA had prioritised the Tobago October Carnival over the national event and called on the THA to provide clarity on the matter. She said it is unfair for stakeholders to make plans for the National Carnival without formal communication from the THA. Tsoiafatt-Angus said recently two Calypsonians hosted an event in Tobago and neither of them received any contributions from the THA.
