Integrity Commission Investigates Allegations of Improper Hiring in Tobago Division

Scarborough, Tobago – Minority Leader Kelvon Morris has leveled significant allegations against the Division of Settlements, Public Utilities and Rural Development, claiming improper hiring practices within its Rural Department Unit.

The Integrity Commission of Trinidad and Tobago has acknowledged a letter issued by Morris, dated May 28th, 2024, and has since officially launched an investigation into the claims. This inquiry highlights concerns regarding transparency and due process in public sector employment on the island.
