Hospitality Industry Fully Booked For DØDS Diving Event…

A massive economic wave crashed over East Tobago this weekend as the high-flying, adrenaline-pumping Døds Diving League (DDL) World Tour took over the picturesque coastal village of Charlotteville.

Serving as the official opening stop of the 2026 Døds international season, the extreme freestyle “death diving” spectacle drew elite international athletes, global media production crews, and thousands of spectators to the Charlotteville jetty overlooking Pirate’s Bay. The influx translated into a massive economic windfall for the island’s tourism and service sectors, completely exhausting available guesthouse and hotel room stock across the entire eastern corridor.
