P.M. Dr. Keith Rowley stands behind Rocky Point hotel development as the way to push Tobago’s economy forward
Scarborough, Tobago – Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley stated his firm resolve not to let the Rocky Point Hotel Development Project be derailed, drawing parallels to the fate of the previous Sandals project. Speaking at last night’s edition of “Conversations with the Prime Minister” held at the Scarborough Library, he underscored the critical importance of this initiative.
The Prime Minister emphasized that without a major hotel development on the island, it would be challenging to significantly invigorate Tobago’s economy. He issued a direct call for Tobagonians to actively support the Rocky Point project, recognizing its potential as a key driver for economic growth, job creation, and enhanced tourism for the island.
