Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – As Caribbean temperatures soar to record highs, concerns over climate change are intensifying for regional governments. In response, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Trinidad and Tobago initiated the “German-Caribbean Climate Talks” on May 13th in Port of Spain.
The discussions, led by Climate Analytics Caribbean, focused on the critical concept of a “Just Transition” in the Caribbean. This initiative highlights international collaboration in addressing climate-related challenges and developing equitable strategies for a sustainable future in the region.
