Folk Fiesta Showcases Cultural Pride at Tobago Heritage Festival 2024
Scarborough, Tobago –16 July, 2025 – The Shaw Park Complex was filled with rhythm, color, and cultural pride last night as the Folk Fiesta Heritage Show took center stage under the theme “Time Longer Than Twine.” This vibrant event, a key part of the annual Tobago Heritage Festival 2025, was more than just a cultural showcase; it was a fierce but friendly competition.
Groups from across the island competed in various traditional categories, delivering energetic performances for the audience. The showcase featured diverse art forms including Folk Ballet, Speech Band, Drummology, and many more, with each act bringing something unique to the stage.
The Folk Fiesta provided a dynamic platform for Tobago’s cultural groups to demonstrate their talent and dedication to preserving the island’s heritage.
