Scarborough, Tobago – October 2, 2024 – A percentage of the funds raised by the 2024 Capture the Flag Tournament was donated to Scarborough Secondary School. A cheque for $34,000 was presented to the Acting Vice Principal of Scarborough Secondary School, Ronette Reid-Guilland, at a short ceremony on Tuesday, October 1st.
This generous donation will support the school’s general improvement, creative departments, and new sports uniforms. SSS Alumni president, Kevon McKenna, highlighted the community spirit behind the tournament, while Reid-Guilland expressed gratitude, noting the positive impact this support will have on students’ development. The committee is already planning the tournament’s tenth anniversary for next year.
