Scarborough, Tobago – February 28, 2024 – The Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment, and Sustainable Development recently orchestrated a pivotal meeting between the Buccoo Reef Trust and Boskalis, a renowned Dutch company specializing in artificial reef technologies. This collaboration marks a significant step towards coral reef restoration in Tobago.

The partnership focuses on a pilot study that leverages Boskalis’ innovative Modular Sealife System (MOSES). This is a proven technology that has successfully rejuvenated deteriorating corals in Kenya.
