July 23, 2025 – In Tobago, overwhelming public demand has prompted the Division of Community Development, Youth Development and Sport to reschedule its popular Sports Camp. The camp, now set to run from August 5th to the 15th, 2025, was specifically postponed from its original July start date to create more spaces for children, following a massive response from the community. A new, limited online registration window is now open to fill the additional spots on a strict first-come, first-served basis.
The camp is open to boys and girls aged 7 to 14, offering a variety of sports including football, netball, tennis, and archery at several venues across Tobago. While meals are provided, parents are reminded that participants must bring their own water. The Division confirmed that previously registered children do not need to reapply, ensuring a smooth transition for those who already secured their spots. This initiative aims to provide valuable sporting and developmental opportunities for Tobago’s youth.
