August 19, 2024 – During yesterday’s (August 18, 2024) PNM Special Convention, the Political leader of the PNM and Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley, announced that the country’s coat of arms would be changed. The proposed change, which has garnered significant attention, involves replacing the three Columbus boats with the steelpan.
