TTUTA concerned about the closure of schools before the SEA examination
All primary schools and private examination centres will be closed on Wednesday, March 20th 2024, to conduct safety and quality checks before the Secondary Entrance Assessment exam. The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teacher Association (TTUTA) shared their thoughts on the matter.
TTUTA President Martin Lum Kin said he found it irregular that schools will be closed the day before SEA. The reason behind the closure of schools was not disclosed. However, we contacted Tobago TUTTA Officer Bradon Roberts for his thoughts on the matter.
Roberts stated that while TTUTA has not been given information as to the reason behind the closure of schools, based on what is happening, it is not something he is ready to question.
