Carnival Bandleaders Threaten Protest Action

Tobago bandleaders are currently locked in on an emergency meeting as they try to determine a way forward after receiving the budget for the national Carnival. The budget is less than the 2023 budget, with prize monies and grants being slashed. Additionally, some categories of mas and J’ouvert will not receive any prize money at all. The bandleaders appeared on the Good Morning Tobago Show with Kandace Jackson to express their dissatisfaction. Here is more.
