Can Councillor Petal-Ann Roberts make a difference as Secretary of Finance, Trade, and the Economy? That is the question Watson Duke, political leader of the Progressive Democratic Patriots and Assemblyman for Roxborough/Argyle, is asking following Roberts’ appointment to the role on Thursday. Duke acknowledged her exceptional record as a public servant but expressed doubts about her potential influence.
